How to prepare for a regression session?

A hypnotherapy session’s success depends on whether you can relax enough to go into a deep meditative state called trance. Not everyone is able to let go during the first appointment, and that is completely normal and understandable. This isn’t something most people do in their everyday life, after all, and you are alone with a complete stranger.

Rest assured, you are completely safe with me. Your session will be recorded from the moment we start the relaxation techniques to the point of me waking you up. This is to capture anything that doesn’t say anything to the therapist, but might be meaningful to yourself. Some clients actually start speaking a different language, and capturing this on video will be useful in deciphering the meaning of those words later.

Let’s see what you can do before your session!

  1. When booking your appointment, choose a time when you don’t have to rush afterwards anywhere, and you’re not between two meetings that stress you out.
  2. Have a think about what kind of issues you’d like to explore at the session. We will go back to the life that is most relevant to the current one.
  3. Have something light to eat beforehand. You shouldn’t be hungry, but you shouldn’t feel uncomfortably full, either.
  4. Avoid tea, coffee, and other stimulants.
  5. Avoid alcohol and drugs. You will be refused the session if you turn up under the influence. This includes marijuana.
  6. Wear comfortable clothes.
  7. Do your research, so you know what to expect.
  8. Let me know if I can help in any way, for example by diffusing lavender essential oil.

That’s it, really. During our consultation before the regression, we will have time to get to know each other, and have a nice chat about what we expect to happen.

I’m looking forward to see you!
