Are you superstitious?
I don’t believe in Friday 13 or black cats crossing you meaning bad luck. Ok I wouldn’t walk under a ladder, but that’s because I’m worried I would somehow knock it over and the poor person on top would come crashing down.
That said, I do use ‘magic’. Not the bespectacled, wand waving wizard kind, obviously. To me, magic is just something that we haven’t been able to scientifically explain YET. Like natural phenomena a thousand years ago; people believed it’s gods swinging their hammers around or feeling benevolent – or wrathful, depending on the volume of rain they got. Now we can explain weather with science and predict it more or less accurately.
Reiki is magic. But then again, reiki is science. The practitioner channels universal healing energy kind of the same way as a radio turns radio waves into song. Although invisible to us, the waves are always around us, but it takes a properly tuned antenna to receive and make sense of them. That is why reiki attunements are needed. You can’t learn reiki online or from books, you need to be there in person with the teacher.
Same with manifestation and synchronicity. Same with past lives. Same with ghosts. We can explain so little about our universe, and we can see even less with our eyes. Who is to say that ghosts, spirits, angels and gods are not on a wavelength that we just can’t see? Cats and dogs seem to react very strongly at times, when we see nothing there. Incidentally, they can see UV light, and have a much better sense of smell and hearing than us. Just a thought.
So yes. Magic is real. If you don’t want it in your life, it’s your choice. Personally, I don’t believe in magic. I know it is real.
