What strategies do you use to cope with negative feelings?
As a reiki practitioner, it would be strange if I didn’t use my own expertise as a way of coping with negative feelings. In fact, it is mandatory for anyone taking on reiki to heal themselves first before they could even learn how to heal others.
The day I got attuned by my teacher, so much hurt and bitterness fell away; it felt like Atlas finally took the globe from my shoulders. It was the best feeling in the world. So much love filled that void, so much peace… it was incredible.
Now I do my daily self-healing sessions, and try to keep myself to the five tenets of reiki. I have to admit, it isn’t always easy not to anger when you have a teenage son, but I have definitely improved in containing it – and in return, our relationship has improved with him, too.
Reiki can help with any negative emotion, or mental health problem. It helps the nervous system to relax and see things clearer. It also helps in balancing energies in the body, balance the chakras, that will bring better physical and mental health as well.
I can only recommend giving reiki a go. It has no contraindications, but limitless benefits.
