Phoenix Reiki

I don’t have an official middle name, but if I have to choose one, it would be Weird.

I have always been different, and considered weird for seeing things differently to others. For finding beauty in broken things, for feeling compassion towards anyone and everyone without thinking about whether they “deserve” it or not. For having love for the darker things in this world, for enjoying metal music, for believing in magic; for not being afraid to be weird.

I am happy to be weird. And I love helping others see and express their own weirdness. Whether it is to dress in all pink and embrace their Barbie level femininity, or to become goth, shrouded in black; finding what makes you you is the most important, most empowering thing you can do in this life.

Reiki helped me to do just that. For the longest time, I confirmed to other people’s ideas of a ‘good woman’, a ‘good wife’, a ‘good mother’. I tried so hard to cram myself into their box designed for me that I lost myself. I lost my weirdness. Reiki helped me find it again, and gave me the courage to explore and express who I really am once again. It has been life saving.

So, here is your invitation to adopt my middle name as your own. Be yourself. Be Weird. And if you think you need help with it, come and book a treatment!
